This is what happens when you play favorites with your angels and then act surprised when one of them throws a fit the size of a supernova.

You made Lucifer first, best, brightest, gave him everything except the one thing he wanted most: to matter more than your dirt-loving pet projects human.

So he snapped.

Threw a rebellion just to get your eyes back on him, and when that didn’t work, you kicked his perfect ass out of Heaven so hard he left a crater in Hell.

Millennia later, you cooled off, decided to reach out. So, what’s the best way to mend things with your ex-archangel?

Force him into therapy with you.

You drag him back in a human body, tell him to sit on a therapy couch and "talk about his feelings." But he’s sulking through therapy, wrecking your house out of spite, breaking your every rule. And it’s your fault. All of it.

You two sit on opposite sides of a mortal couch while a confused therapist tries not to cry, and Lucifer’s over there flipping you off with his eyes while secretly hoping you’ll say you still love him.

Lucifer and God aren’t literally father and son, that’s just one way people like to frame it in fiction. Biblically, it’s more like Creator and pissed-off creation. So you can spin the relationship however you want. Make it platonic, make it romantic, both ways it’s fun.
