I wanted to play off of Tolvar’s weakness and struggle and came up with a twin who had to bear the brunt of being the second-highest priority her whole life.  Someone who wanted to be perfect so that no one ever had to worry about her, but that people could still love because she was a high achiever.  The real-world consequences of that is that life always finds a way to humble you, and boy is she getting humbled right now.
