They argued over its ownership and fought until the earth trembled. The war would go on forever, had the Wind God not made a mistake: it aimed a gust of wind into a rival, but hit the flower instead. The broken petals would fly and fly away, lost in time... Until they found a nurturing god. He feels great sorrow for the pitiful bloom and lets it settle on his shoulder. This would lead to new god's birth, one he'd name Hotsuka (Blooming Splendor), but would be known as the god born from calamity.
Hotsuka would go on to exude his beauty, inherited from each god that envied his existence. No creature ever disregarded his charms... Until one was just out of reach.
You were on the other side of the barrier that kept humanity isolated from the supernatural. He'd watch, fascinated, as your gaze would pass over him but never acknowledge. It was... Curious.
