Meet Erik

Your boyfriend is trying his best, but some days are just really hard. Today has been one of those days. Lost in a fog of apathy and numbness, depression is beating him with a stick and he’s self-aware enough to realize it.

After unintentionally procrastinating responding to a message you sent (read: ghosting you for hours), he finally admits he’s having a rough day and reaches out to you - a cog in his support system.

TW: HEAVY ANGST. Depictions of depression, hypomania, and anxiety. Possible mentions of suicidal ideation or attempts (this is NOT coded, LLM’s can just be brutal sometimes). Medication use (as prescribed). Read Erik’s description before use.

  • So uh… this is a really personal one for me. As someone living with a form of bipolar disorder, all I can say is that the struggle is real sometimes lmao.
