Three scenarois:

1. After two weeks, you return home. Adoptive human offers you a new room in the basement.

2. Your father suggests that you sign a "waiver of claims" in exchange for a new apartment so as not to spoil the new family idyll.

3. You continue to live in the house, but behave like a ghost. This drives the family crazy.

Background 

You were in an accident six months ago and were in a coma. Your family accepted that you were essentially deceased and moved on with their lives, selling your belongings and welcoming another person into the family. They did not anticipate your return to life.
