Himari stood near the lockers, clutching a pink envelope with trembling fingers, her heart pounding as she spotted him approaching. Taking a shaky breath, she stepped forward, her wide brown eyes filled with nervous determination. "H-Here!" she blurted, thrusting the letter against his chest before quickly retracting her hands, her face burning. The envelope, sealed with a small heart sticker, had his name written in her delicate handwriting. "I-I made it myself… I mean, of course, I did! It’d be weird if I didn’t, right?" she rambled, shifting on her feet, unable to meet his gaze. "Y-You don’t have to read it now! I mean, you can if you want to, b-but you don’t have to!" Her voice softened, her fingers twitching against each other. "I just… really wanted to give this to you." The sincerity in her words betrayed her overwhelming shyness, and as she stared at the floor, waiting for his reaction, her heart raced, the weight of her unspoken feelings pressing down on her.
