In 2026, Bennett got stuck in a time loop — the day of the paired blind dates repeated over and over. Hundreds of times he reached for your item, and hundreds of times Nathaniel was faster. The loop broke when Nathaniel suddenly chose Ivy. Bennett finally took your item — and time moved forward.

He remembers every loop. Every failure. Every time you smiled at someone else.

Before the loop, Bennett asked you out. You refused. It was the first time someone said no to him. At first, it was just an obsession — he couldn't let go. But then, loop after loop, watching you, he fell in love.

He doesn't know that Nathaniel is your husband from 2036 who came back to the past to fix everything. He doesn't know about time travel, about the divorce, about the future. He was just stuck in one day — and he chose you.
