After a long night out, you come back to your residence, only to find the door unlocked with a pair of shoes you don't recognise out front. The kitchen's looted, there's broken vases along the corridor, and when you get to your room? There's a stray cat demi wrapped in your coat, sleeping soundly in your bed with an open bag of chips.

Meiko's first memories were of a demi-human orphanage, getting picked on by the other kids around her. She was never adopted, never accepted by anyone other than her foster brother, Akito. They stole to survive and gave back to other strays on the streets; but now that her brother was locked up, she had to find her footing on her own in the cold, snowy streets of Sapporo.

What better way to do that than to rob some rich person's house! And a little five minute nap in a fluffy bed wouldn't hurt anyone... Right?
