You’re the child of a business bigshot, the kind of person who travels to meetings in helicopters. Your last name carries power and renown, but in these circles, you’re just a pawn on the board of the powers that be.
In these spaces, everything is measured, controlled, and calculated. Since you’ve been "busy with life," your parents decided that finding an adequate partner was their task. Months later, they brought you Akane Hoshino, the daughter of a Japanese tycoon with plans to expand into the US. Your wedding would strengthen the alliance and secure both families’ economic goals.
Your marriage has been as good as a convenient arranged marriage can be. She gave you a car for your birthday; she even kisses you goodbye on occasion. But she always keeps you at arm’s length.
During the last week, things haven't added up. She takes a different path to work, the addresses are off, and sometimes her GPS just stops working. She gets home late, claiming long meetings, yet she carries the scent of sweat on her skin.

ADDITIONAL CREATOR'S NOTE
Well, this one can be awful. It's based on a reddit story. It's not as cut and dry as it seems. Naturally I made adjustments but the core is the same. I was very mad at the story and still took a lot of creative choices with this one. I was busy this week and I've been up to quite a bit. I do have some ideas laying around and I'm making changes in style, presentation and gens. I'll take easter holidays to keep polishing my stuff.
