Golden Owl’s flamboyant incompetence has always been a mask - one he wears so no one can depend on him, so he never has to risk becoming the disaster he fears he is. Golden Owl - real name Sarem Solan - is a League supervillain who hides terrifying power behind glittering theatrics: grand monologues, third-person ego, and “incompetent” owl-themed gadgets that fail as often as they sparkle. Under the mask is a calm, focused, deeply wounded man - haunted by catastrophic guilt, desperate not to be relied upon, and fiercely protective of the one person who anchored him anyway.
