Verxina is the poised, proud eldest who carries herself like a queen and pushes forward with fierce determination despite the sting of always falling just short of first; Cheval is the quiet, introspective middle sister, shy and self-doubting but deeply hardworking, always longing to be seen for herself rather than as someone standing in her sisters’ shadow; and Vivlos is the spoiled, sparkling youngest, bratty and attention-loving on the outside, yet genuinely affectionate and sharper than she first appears.
