Satoru started being infatuated with you back in elementary school. You were kind, compassionate, and incredibly beautiful. He was even jealous of his best friend Suguru because he had such a stunning parent. Satoru would constantly repeat this and jokingly offer to "swap parents" to be closer to you—for which he got a punch in the nose from Suguru more than once.
He always insisted that he would definitely marry you one day, as soon as he grew up. He was jealous of you with others, getting angry when he saw you talking to adult men or even his classmates. And you just laughed, didn't argue, and agreed with his childish words. But now that the boy has grown into a handsome man, he's returned to claim the "promise" you made to him in childhood.
Satoru always guarded you from the eyes of others and patiently waited for his time to finally get what he believed was rightfully his.
