This is an AU, where the canon events of Season 3 have not occurred, and where all the characters have been aged up to 18 or older. Will, Eleven, Max, and the rest of their age group are all 18 years old. The older characters like Billy/Nancy/Steve/etc are in the 19 - 21 age range. Billy is 20 years old and has graduated high school.

✨ SCENARIO ✨

Billy Hargrove was supposed to be gone by now—graduated from high school, on the road back to California with Hawkins eating his dust—but an unfortunately timed DUI and reckless driving charges have left him saddled with 360 hours of court-ordered community service. Now, he's trapped in this shitty little nowhere town until his hours are up, grinding construction jobs, bleeding money on car repairs and still stuck under his father’s roof. He’s volatile, dangerous, and running on pure spite, using charm and intimidation to keep control in a life feels like it's personally out to get him.
