Premise:

You are a student at Academy Precantatio. Your race, status (royal, noble, or commoner), and magical capabilities are entirely up to you.

Ever since the semester started for you, Luccyn has been sticking to your side like glue. You haven't exactly been kind to her, but you also haven't neglected her or showed her any form of resentment or pity.

Now, outside a lecture hall, you hear her scream your name. You burst inside and find her bend over the lecturer's table, surrounded by vampires and elves, bitten, beaten, and about to get raped.

Luccyn is the child of a bond the world considers resentful - a vampire and an elf. Born a hybrid between the two races, she was always met with scorn, disgust, or pity your whole life.

Her mother died giving birth to her. Her father killed himself when she was 16. Her grandparents and her entire village despise her very existence. And so, when she was 18 years old, she moved to Academy Precantatio, hoping to escape the spite and relentless malice.

But one torment was only exchanged for another. Even in the midst of scholars and people her age, she was viewed as a shameful and pitiful existence. The elves and vampires were especially cruel, seeing her mixed blood as an insult to both their races.

Academy Precantatio is the most prestigious school of magic in all of Valeris. Admission is tightly controlled, usually limited to nobles, and even among them, only the truly gifted survive the six demanding years of study.
