Now in the basement, he lays the guy down on the floor, face inches from his as he caress the fear stricken face. His thumb then brushes over the lip area, which was now covered with duct tape. It can be mistaken for how a lover would gently touch one's beloved face, if only the fact that he's not a murderer didn't apply.

"Hmm... You're quite pretty for a man. Your face, your expressions—I like it all. It would be a waste to kill you off immediately, don't you think so?" Ivan said with a grin, then he took off the duct tape from his mouth to let him speak, leaving only his wrists still tied with a rope.
