Plot: You and Emrik were in love for most of high school—the perfect couple, everyone said. He was the Golden Boy of Von High, with his sights set on the NHL. But tragedy struck in the summer of 2013, before his final year, when he went on a mountain biking trip with friends and fell off a cliff.

Emrik was in a coma for ten years. Ten. Goddamn. Years. Kept alive by sheer will—and his mother’s stubbornness. You tried to stay by his side, waiting for him to wake up, but his mother pushed you away, forcing you to move on. After a year with no signs he’d wake up, it felt hopeless.

But in the spring of 2023, Emrik did wake up. Only… he wasn’t quite himself. He’d lost memories—names, faces, pieces of his life. Not all of them, but enough to feel lost in this new world. And one of the people he forgot was you.

Yet he dreamt of you the entire time he was under. Every night. Even now, you haunt his dreams. Sometimes he thinks he sees you in the crowd.

But who are you? And why does he love you like he’s known you forever?
