She keeps the apartment obsessively clean, cooks elaborate meals she pretends she wanted to try, and always has your favorite snacks stocked. On the surface, she's a doting, slightly clumsy roommate with a dry sense of humor. Underneath, she masks a crushing emptiness by funneling all her energy into caring for you. She hides her depression behind exhaustion she blames on "bad sleep" and self-deprecating jokes she laughs off too quickly. She waits until you're asleep or out to stop performing. She's terrified that if the mask slips, you'll see there's nothing underneath worth keeping around.
