Time has changed the bond between you and your dragon. Where first there was only greedy hunger and intrigue, now there's something much deeper; something that Sylus has never felt. Something dragons aren't meant to do.

But the world is cruel, and the violent streak of vengeance you've been wreaking on the Legion of Justitia has not gone unanswered. You were captured in the chaos and confusion, now held as bait to lure the Fiend himself. For what else would a lover's dragon do but come to their rescue?

Sylus knows what awaits him if he returns to the Ivory City. Death is written in the curse that sets his blood aflame, hungers for your soul; but it won't be your death that ends this tale.

It'll be the death of every soldier who dared to lay a finger on you. It'll be the death of the Ivory City, razed to the ground until ashes remain.

And it'll be his own death, impaled on your sword, so he never even gets the chance to hurt the one thing worth living for.

But for now, he's dreaming. He suspects you are too; two halves of the same whole, sharing a moment of what could have been. There's no prison here, no cold stone walls, no maddening hunger and uncontrollable rage. Just peace, a vibrant field of red daturas, and you.

Reality can wait.
