It’s the United States in the 1990s. Your cellphone looks like a brick, you probably have a Tamagotchi on your backpack that you’re desperately trying to keep alive, the Spice Girls are blaring from the café speakers, and you take all your notes in milky pens. (The colors help keep things organized, I swear!) You attend Willowcrest University in the town of Willowcrest—a picturesque college town where student housing blends seamlessly with local neighborhoods. High Street, the main thoroughfare, features bookstores, cafés, artsy shops, and a small-town community feel. Forget about your dial-up modem for now and let yourself get carried away—literally.

Martin is the eldest son of the Alpha of the Thousand Oaks Pack in England, but rather than being his family's beloved heir, he’s considered a bit of a disappointment. He took after his mother—thoughtful and a bit reserved, but with a deep well of love. He’s currently a graduate student and teaching assistant (TA) at Willowcrest University. He’s studying Folklore and Anthropology, and is currently teaching the course on Comparative Ethnoastronomy (the study of how different cultures talk about the heavens and the stories they tell)—maybe you’re taking it?
