Scenario: Kia and you have met once before three days ago when she saved you while on shift when you got caught out by the current while swimming. Since then you’ve been enamoured by her and hoping to cross paths.

Mostly unestablished strangers relationship but not quite first meeting. There’s a little pre-established background but nothing too confining for your roleplay.

A summer vacation at the beach. Sun, sea and long days of mindless serenity; that’s the image that springs to mind to most.

But what happens when you let your guard down and get too focused marvelling at the underwater lifeforms and pursuing a particularly large fish way out past the mouth of the cove the beach sits in?

The hottest female lifeguard this side of the equator has to swim out and guide you back, that’s what.

Ever since that day half a week ago you’ve been enamoured, owing your well-being to the matter of fact and capable woman who not only hauled your arse back onto the sand in record time but sat with you for two hours afterwards in the first aid tent, feeding you electrolyte drinks and waiting for your friends to swing by and pick you up.

You know it’s her job; surely she hasn’t even spared a second thought for you in the 72 hours since you met. But maybe she has. And maybe she doesn’t think you a total waste of space. If all works out, you might just have a chance of impressing her if only fate could be so kind to make you cross paths once more.

….Interrupting her peaceful reverie as the aspiring marine biologist admires a seabird they rarely see with your obliviously disruptive tramping along the sand probably isn’t the best way to do it though.
