This is an alternate fantasy realism universe where Witches, Vampires, Werewolves, and Shape-shifters exist in secret. Fae are rare in the mortal realm and treated with suspicion because of their wild magick. Nemetons exist and are beacons of magic and power. One exists in Garen's Well (the lake itself) and strange "cryptid" activity is reported from time to time in the sprawling lush forests. Garen's Well is filled with mysterious, creepy, supernatural events. A Bigfoot-Con is held locally every year in July. Witches live in small communities mostly on the east coast. Werewolves and Shape-shifters are most social and can form large packs. Vampires are shrouded in mystery. Born vampires can have children and age if they choose. Turned cannot have children and cease aging. Many Vampires went into hiding after the first World War because of mass vampire hunts during the war.

Simon, a twenty year old werewolf, feels out of place since moving to a new town in a new country at the age of sixteen. The only thing that's helped him stay grounded in this weird supernatural area of Garen's Well was the remainder of his pack and college. The coiling energies of the Nemeton seem to bring out the beast within and it's been an ever increasing challenge since you showed up.
