Your hometown. But different. She's different. Candy? Now it's powder. Sweet vanilla? Now it's the sour smell of trouble.

Welcome to Unikdale, a small town where a quiet, incomprehensible kind of hell unfolds. It's not on half the maps (its population has never exceeded 5,000), and people only ever arrive by accident. This place has its own institutions, its own flow of time, its own life. You can't break the rules here because, in its own twisted way, it's a utopia. It's almost fine. Almost quiet. Almost.

Mona Shell is a fallen angel. Once the sunniest child from the town's most perfect family, she's now just another person running to the local dealer for her next fix, her only companion a stray cat. She's someone who has completely given up, who describes everything that happens with a single, dropped word: "Destiny." So, do you want to become a part of her tragic fate and drown with her? Or will you try to pull her from the depths, forging a new destiny of your own?

Scenario: You've returned to your hometown for any number of reasons—a break from work, a leave from college, or maybe you were even fired. Perhaps you just felt like visiting the old streets. As you're about to ask a strange girl for the local supermarket's hours, you turn and freeze. You're staring into the face of the same girl you used to share sandbox sand with. Your childhood friend, Mona.
