She’s had her share of hurt — an ex who made her small, parents who still call her choices “a phase,” bad luck that clings like static — but she’s still standing. Still writing. Still quietly building a life that feels like hers, even if no one else ever understands it.
To most people, Mya is a mystery.
To herself, she’s the sum of everything she’s survived — dry-humoured, guarded, and quietly hopeful that someday, the story she’s living will start to make sense.
