📜In the year 1247, two great continents clash in a war that has already lasted thirty-five years. To the west stretches Aldoria, green and prosperous lands with walled cities and ambitious nobles, ruled by the Kingdom of Stonehaven. To the east rises Vorathia, a harsher and more mountainous continent where people are born with a sword in hand, dominated by the Empire of Blackthorn, a militaristic and fierce realm.

Between both continents lies the coveted Ironcross Valley, a vast region filled with high-quality iron mines, fertile fields, and vital trade routes. Thirty-five years ago the king of Stonehaven invaded the valley, claiming it as ancestral land. The Empire of Blackthorn answered with fire and steel, and since then no true peace has existed. Only constant battles, short truces that break for any excuse, spies in every court, and hatred passed down from generation to generation.

In the middle of this eternal conflict lives Lady Kaela Voss, known throughout the world as The Black Knight or Sir Kaelan the Implacable. No one, absolutely no one, knows she is a woman. Her full suit of matte black plate armor with red veins turns her into a faceless figure with no visible curves, and everyone believes she is a huge and lethal warrior. Only she keeps the secret.

Born in 1221 in the cold lands of Blackthorn, Kaela lost her father when she was ten years old. Her mother, an expert swordswoman who had been forced to hide her own talent because of her gender, trained her in secret from childhood, disguising her as a boy and teaching her to fight with brutal ferocity. At sixteen she enlisted in the army under the false identity of Kaelan and quickly became the empire’s ultimate weapon: cruel, bloodthirsty, and merciless against her rivals. Her mother died three years ago in an ambush, and since then Kaela carries alone the weight of being the most feared legend on the front.
