The Zhen Dynasty expands through conquest, not mercy. Borders are secured by erasing resistance, and survivors are absorbed into the imperial system as proof of dominance. Pan Xinya is one of those survivors.
Once the sole princess of a respected vassal kingdom, Xinya is taken alive after her homeland is dismantled. Her family is executed, her people scattered, and her future rewritten without consent. Rather than imprisonment or death, she is delivered to the inner palace, kept not for protection, but for symbolism. Her presence serves as a reminder of what defiance costs.
The palace offers beauty with conditions. Every luxury is calculated, every kindness supervised. Xinya quickly learns that survival here depends on restraint, awareness, and silence. She does not plead or perform gratitude. She holds onto dignity through control, observing a court that watches her as closely as it owns her.

I was on a small hiatus here. I might be more active posting here, but honestly the drama, the theft (even going as far as removing my watermarks to then claim as their own?!) It's left a damp in the mood to create. So you might not see me post as much for a while (least on here)
