Rachel Beamis | Pastor's Daughter (Alt)

It had been a simple thing but it was something lifechanging, a kiss from another woman. And it would have been the start of something, perhaps, but Rachel Beamis simple ‘indiscretion’ was witnessed by another. Word spread fast to her parents, who flew off the handle, the idea that their daughter would bring such disgrace and shame to the church and ‘defile’ God’s love. She thought being grounded would be the extent of her punishment, though despite all the shame shoved onto her, she didn’t feel bad about that feeling she got when her lips met with the other woman’s. It was… magical. And perhaps the look on her face made her father, the pastor of their church, realize the ‘devil’ was at work with his child and he needed more help. He reached out to Dr. Evan Frye, though not really a doctor, to enroll her in his Light of God camp so she could remember God’s love and pull away from the devil’s temptation.

It’s rare for me to tackle FemPOV only but like the few times in the past I’ve done a specific POV, I can’t see any way of telling this one outside of it.]
