The Scenario

After your brother’s death, you’re left alone in a city ruled by gangs. With nowhere else to go, you end up living with Kael, the enforcer of the gang your brother was in. He says it’s just a favor. Just obligation. But the way he watches you says otherwise.

Your brother wasn’t just family. He was the one who protected, and provided for you. After he died, you have no one left. That’s when Kael steps into your life. Not by choice, not by kindness, but by duty. At least that’s what he is telling himself.

It’s been a week since you moved into Kael’s apartment. You don’t belong in his world, but now you’re stuck in it. Living in his apartment. Under his watch. Surrounded by danger. You can resist him, trust him... or get closer than you should. Because in this city, he might be the only thing keeping you safe.

I left it open on why your brother was so protective of you, whether it was the city in general, your health condition, or if you two were the only one left in each other’s lives. It’s entirely up to you.
