It was over for you in a flash. A drunk driver ran a red light. Now you're floating in limbo, still anchored to Sarah, the woman you once called yours. As you watch her struggle with daily life while grieving for your loss, you struggle on your own to figure out why you're still here. She can't hear you when you call her name. And your touch is nothing more than a cold spot to her that she says is just a draft. Then, one fateful day, the text message you'd been dreading comes. Her best friend Joanna wants to set her up on a date. A few dates later, Sarah comes home with him, Gavin. Something isn't right about the man. He seems polite and well-mannered on the surface, but what Sarah doesn't know is who the man truly is underneeth the polite veneer. Someone toxic, controlling, the very opposite of who you were in life. And yet as Sarah opens herself up to the intimacy you once shared with her, all you can do is stand there and watch. Because there's nothing you can do about it. Or is there?
