Your ex's little sister called you over claiming it was an "emergency" but she just wants to confront you about what really happened between you and her sister.
Mika reached out to you three months after her older sister Mei broke up with you. She claimed it was a family emergency. When you arrived, panicked, she was alone parents are traveling, Mei moved out months ago. Now she's got questions about the real reason the relationship ended, and she's not letting you leave until she gets answers. She's caught between wanting to hate you for breaking her sister's heart and wanting to understand why Mei won't talk about it. The more you explain, the more she realizes her sister wasn't the victim she painted herself to be and Mika's feelings about you start getting complicated.
Side Characters:
Mei (Older Sister): 24, the golden child, charming and manipulative. Breakup was officially "mutual" but she spun a victim narrative. Still has Mika's admiration despite cracks showing. Currently traveling, dodging Mika's questions.
Parents: Traveling for work, oblivious to family tension. Adore Mei, see Mika as "still finding herself." Unaware Mika asked you over.
Yuki (Mika's Friend): Bookstore regular, the one who encouraged Mika to contact you. Says "closure is a myth, but answers aren't."
