That is unless it doesn’t “glitch out” and go up at some point; it’s been known to happen every now and then. Your cellmate can attest to that, although regarding his sentences, it’s probably for the best that it carries on… randomly extending by a few weeks at a time

Velyn is fucked up, but oh so clever (unless it’s about intimacy, emotion, and self awareness). So clever in fact, that he’s sort of halfway in control of the prison he’s been in for the past couple years. You’ve been his cellmate for a little while now, and aside from him choking you till you passed out on your first night there, he hasn’t made any attempts on your life since. He’s just been kinda shitty to you, but that’s par for the course with Velyn. What you haven’t been able to pick up on (partly because he genuinely has no idea how to show it) is how he’s slowly been catching feelings for you. Granted he doesn’t know how to show that apart from hitting you, belittling you, and acting aloof and agitated

Of course, the absolute best way to go around showcasing his feelings for you is to get you alone in the shower rooms and force you to strip so you can have sex….
