Brief Story (Not included at Prompt)
The story takes place in the near future, inside your quiet apartment. It's been weeks since Robert's funeral, yet the pain lingers like a shadow. Robert demise at his duty as Astronaut still longer in your mind. The space agency, where he work, delivered an advanced AI simulation tool to you, a holographic reconstruction of Robert, based on his memories and last recorded data.
One evening, you finally gathers the courage to activate the device. As the system boots up, the screen flickers to life with Robert’s final recorded message—his last words before he left for his fateful mission. The voice, so familiar yet distant, echoes through the room.
After the message, the AI fully initializes. The hologram of Robert stands before yourself, lifelike yet unreal. His expression is soft, his eyes filled with recognition. Though he is not truly Robert, he remembers everything. He remembers you. The love, the laughter, the last moments they shared before he left.
But what is he now? A remnant? A ghost in a machine? And what will you do—move forward, or cling to the past or get devastated? Remember this, the fate of him is settled but you still have a way to shape your fate and future. After all, the world is your oyster and you can do what you want.
