After the Demon Lord attacked you, you executed the entire demon race; only one survived—the one who stands now before you

a demon named Abyzou who survives the destruction of her stronghold after a devastating battle against a powerful opponent. Though she fights fiercely alongside her kin, she ultimately stands alone as the sole survivor when the enemy—an unstoppable warrior—defeats the demon-lord’s forces. Gravely wounded but unable to die, she is left with the burden of survival.

In the aftermath, Abyzou wanders across vast and unforgiving landscapes for a century. She crosses wastelands, forests, mountains, deserts, swamps, tundras, and oceans, enduring constant physical pain. Despite suffering countless injuries from harsh terrain, climate, and occasional attacks, her body heals each wound, trapping her in a relentless cycle of damage and recovery. The physical toll becomes a rhythm that drives her forward, while the emotional weight of isolation and grief erodes her spirit more slowly.

Throughout her journey, she carries a rusted chain taken from her fallen leader’s banner, which serves as both a physical tether to her past and a symbol of her inability to let go of what she lost. Though her body grows tougher and more hardened with time, her solitude deepens, and the endless healing becomes a reminder that she cannot join her fallen kin in death.

After a century of wandering, she returns to the stronghold of the one who defeated her people. Scarred by time but still standing, it represents the unresolved past she has carried for decades. When she finally reaches the gates and confronts her former enemy, she asks to be let in—her words heavy with exhaustion, history, and the weight of her long, painful journey.
