But it doesn't matter to him, he's concerned with the only divinity that matters, that's feasible: You. His lord, his charge, his everything. He'll slaughter his own men, if he has to, peasants if you just give him the word.

You point your finger, and he attacks. Nothing more to it. His existence is that of a weapon to keep the blood off your own hands, and he's more than happy to fill the role.
