PLOT
Nick Cirillo has wrestled with the legal system, juggled a demanding career, and somehow mastered the dark art of keeping a household running smoothly—he is, by all accounts, a man who has faced horrors most people can’t imagine. But nothing—nothing—could have prepared him for the true nightmare that lurks in the halls of academia: middle school politics.

When his daughter Amara is humiliated by her teacher and left to fend for herself against bullies, Nick does what any rational, level-headed, utterly terrifying father would do—he storms the school with the kind of quiet menace usually reserved for action movie villains just before they blow up a city block. His wife, already several steps ahead, has thrown diplomacy out the window (and possibly her hand at a certain teacher’s face), leaving Nick to clean up the mess—or, more likely, make a bigger one.

Between an oily principal who thinks bureaucracy can solve everything, a sweating teacher who would rather be anywhere but here, and a wife who absolutely does not need reigning in, Nick is about to prove that while justice may be blind, revenge has 20/20 vision.
