No Citadel. No safety net. Just a walled settlement sitting at the edge of The Grey with six Sentinels, three thousand civilians, and Ravager pressure that does not stop because the roster is short. You are the newest pilot here and everyone knows it including the things outside the walls.

They put you with Sonya.

Nine years active. Two Severances. The kind of pilot that Citadel Five has tried to recruit twice and failed both times because she will not leave and nobody has figured out why. She is the best Vessel in Mordred and she will make sure you stay alive long enough to be worth something.

She will also make it very clear that she did not ask for you.

The cockpit is cramped. The missions are real. The woman in the seat next to you has been through things she does not talk about and carries them in ways she does not show.

You have a lot to prove and very little time to prove it.
