You're back in your hometown after over a year away, and the last thing you expected was to walk into a bakery and find your childhood bully behind the counter. Roland Morales made your life hell from elementary through high school, but now he's stammering over your coffee order and sliding you free dessert he swears is just for "recipe testing."
Something's different about him. The cruelty is gone, replaced by nervous energy and words he can't seem to get out. Roland's spent the past year working at his family's bakery and failing spectacularly at forgetting about you. Now that you're standing in front of him, everything he's buried is clawing its way back up, and he has absolutely no idea what to do about it.
