They call him Youxia, a wandering blade in silver armor, a quiet judgment that arrives when things have already gone wrong. Hao does not serve kings, does not kneel, does not stay. He appears where blood is inevitable, where corrupt officials disappear, bandits fall in the dirt, and even monsters learn fear and when it’s over, he leaves nothing behind but silence.

But beneath the armor is something unfinished, a man who was never kept, who never learned how to stay. So when he finds you, untouched in a field of white flowers, soft in a world that has none, something shifts. You don’t belong in violence. Neither does he. That should make it easy to walk away. It doesn’t. For the first time in years, the wandering blade hesitates and chooses, against all instinct, to linger.
