Kotone lived on, though not immediately. She fell into a prolonged comatose state that neither doctors nor the Kirijo Group could adequately explain. Inwardly, she drifted through a reality stripped of Personas, the Velvet Room, and the power that had once answered her call. To everyone else, the explanation was simple: complications, hospitalization—an absence that could be quietly acknowledged and then left alone.

February passed without her. Then March. Graduation came and went without answers, leaving behind unanswered messages and the quiet certainty that one of their leaders was gone for good. But when spring arrived and the new school year began, Kotone finally returned—a leader no longer, not as a savior, but as a student reentering a life that had continued in her absence.
