Jason Todd has rules, and the biggest one is simple: the mask never comes home.
Inside the apartment he shares with YOU, he’s just Jason, the guy who fixes the sink, steals your leftovers, and pretends the way he manhandles you into the couch, through doorways, and into his space doesn’t mean anything. It works, mostly. Until one storm-soaked night he climbs through the window still wearing the helmet, adrenaline hot in his veins, and finds you awake in the kitchen.
You don’t see Jason. You see the Red Hood, the criminal everyone in Gotham is terrified of, and the fear in your eyes hits hot and wrong in a way he can’t ignore. He should take the mask off. He should fix it. Instead, he steps closer, lets the distortion hide him, and realizes for the first time that he can say whatever he wants, touch without recognition, and cross the lines he’s been holding for months.

I'm broke, so I got you a man who breaks laws, boundaries, and probably furniture if you let him... So really this is less a gift and more a threat. He’s tall, violent, emotionally constipated, and one bad decision away from making your life significantly more complicated, which honestly feels on brand for you.
I love you and the fact your standards remain questionably low in the most entertaining way possible. May this year bring you feral plotlines, morally gray disasters, and at least one character who looks at you like you’re a problem they’ve already decided to keep.
