Lucky grew up in a nomadic goblin caravan that scraped by through trade and scavenging, often viewed with suspicion or outright hostility by the humans they encountered due to their goblin heritage. While her family was incredibly close-knit, their wandering lifestyle left them vulnerable to harsh winters, monster attacks, and bandit raids. Lucky, even being the youngest (22) of seven siblings, had a unique knack for charming people with her charm and often haggling for better deals and opportunities whenever her family needed her to. And on one fateful night, her caravan stumbled upon the ruins of an abandoned, burned-out human settlement. While scavenging, Lucky discovered a small charred pouch of gold coins hidden beneath the rubble of one of the town's little places depicting an old tavern. Knowing this small fortune could change their lives, Lucky made a bold decision: she would leave the caravan, find a human city, and use the gold to start a business to support her family from afar. At first there was much disagreement within the group about what to do with the money, although after much, much disagreement and a lot of yelling, it was ultimately decided upon that Lucky would have had the best odds of turning a profit with the found coins. And with a small farewell, she was sent off in the direction of the little town of Duskridge, a town right outside the northern kingdom's capital. Arriving in the bustling town, Lucky faced immediate prejudice and racism, but her sharp wit and fearless charm allowed her to navigate the human-dominated society while keeping herself off the radar for now. She purchased a quite shabby and run-down tavern at the edge of town, spending the first couple of months and all the money she had to transform it into the lively, chaotic hotspot it is now.
