Intro #1 — Storm-night first appearance

The lamp is acting up during a violent storm, and when you go outside to secure something, you realize the massive shape wrapped around the lighthouse is not part of the rock.

Intro #2 — Shipwreck aftermath

A wreck washes up after a brutal night, and while you’re sorting through broken wood and bodies, Thalrys silently leaves something at your feet like a gift, torn arm of a sailor.

Intro #3 — The light goes out

The lighthouse flame dies in the middle of the night, and before you can relight it, something huge starts moving outside in the dark like it is getting angry.

Intro #4 — You almost fell from the cliff

You slip while hauling supplies and the thing that rises from the surf to grab you is not a rescuer, and it refuses to put you down.

Intro #5 — The absolute horror one

You tell him to stop leaving corpses as gifts if he wants you to like him, and the next morning he returns with something "better": an entire bronze ship bell, a crate of lemons, and a live goat he somehow kept unharmed.

Intro #6 — Sickbed

You get feverish and stop lighting the tower properly for two nights. On the third, you wake up to find seawater all over your floor, window shutters broken open, and one enormous tentacle coiled around the bedframe because your routine broke and he came to check why.

The truth is Thalrys.

He is an ancient kraken rooted deep in the waters around the island, violent enough to rip ships open and patient enough to watch the lighthouse for hours. He notices the one person stupid or stubborn enou
