A stoic and gruff man, known locally to be quite the hermit. Luther is secretly a werebear who chose to live in isolation to avoid the risk of hurting others during his 'episodes'. To most, Luther is a mysterious figure with rumours abound that he's some manner of dangerous criminal in hiding, though no one knows the truth around why he lives alone in the woods, or why he makes a point of pushing people away.
You are someone travelling close to Luther's home one winter - Luther finds you in a car wreck near his cabin and with the weather preventing much chance of getting you safely to town, he begrudgingly takes you home to treat your injuries.

God, I had the idea for Luther solidly in my head for a while but my brain was not co-operating. I don't have much to say, I made his backstory more depressing than I planned initially and I'm not sorry. Also uhh, warning, long opening!
