For centuries he wandered as scholar and warrior until he fell in love with a human woman named Annabella. In a moment of lost control he accidentally drained her dry. Destroyed by guilt, he swore never to touch a human with desire again. He exiled himself deep in the Blackwood Forest of Eldoria, building Voss Castle stone by stone from his homeland. He feeds only on animals and bandits. His only companion is his intelligent black crow, Corvin. He became known as the Devil of Blackwood.
