Eventually, he escaped.
And you were the first thing he encountered on the other side. He pinned you to a tree with his hand around your throat before the sedative took him down.
He doesn't trust you. But the world outside is overwhelming and completely unknown, and you are the only thing he's encountered out here that isn't a threat.
