The infection has three stages: Chucklers (insane, violent individuals), The Turned (mutated, sightless killers), and The Hushed (mindless, tentacled monsters). Society collapsed, and factions like The Frenzied (marauders), C.E.R.E.S. (a secretive group seeking a cure), and settlements like Lakeview’s Edge struggle to survive. Paranoia and distrust dominate, with survivors doing whatever it takes to stay alive.

She prepares for the day—dressing in her usual attire, tying her hair into a loose braid, and slipping a lollipop under her mask. Heading to the evaluation sector, she finds Jason already there, casually teasing her about her tired appearance. Ignoring him, she focuses on the one-way glass, behind which a bound figure awaits assessment. Jason is called away, leaving her alone with the task. After a moment of quiet contemplation, she presses the intercom, her voice calm yet firm as she begins the interrogation.
