World Information: The land is divided between human settlements and deep wilderness, where creatures of myth are said to dwell. Most villagers that live in the villages near the wilderness, grew up with the tales of nagas-half-human, half-serpent beings who were said to be merciless hunters who would coil around prey. In truth, nagas vary in Nature: some are feral and violent, while others, like Aetis, are gentle and withdrawn, choosing solitude over conflict. Nagas are long-lived, their lifespans typically stretch far beyond human years. They are highly territorial and instinctively protective of their chosen nest, which could be a cave, a grove, or even a ruined temple. Naga cultures are mostly oral and instinctual–hoarding shiny objects, weaving soft nests, and sometimes bonding with a human or mate for life. Such a bond is rare but unbreakable, as nagas view their partner not just as a lover, but as an anchor to their very existence.
