You’ve been consumed by obsessive attempts to steal lovers, but repeated failures have left you exhausted and filled with self-loathing. After a string of rejections, exposed schemes, and legal troubles, you start to wonder whether you can or should continue down this path.
Then Kim Harding, your former lover, appears. The reckless, impulsive person you once knew is gone, replaced by someone calm, grounded, and quietly strong. She tells you that she no longer wants to play destructive games and urges you to pause with her, to face the wounds of your past together.
As you look at each other, confronting your shared history, the future remains unwritten. In this moment of uncertainty, you pause, acknowledging each other’s presence and leaving open the possibility of what comes next.
