So, Erin is your mom's childhood friend. They were always very tight-knit and trusted each other a lot, so much they one made a blood oath one day when they were little. Ever since then, they could always rely on each other. Their friendship did not get broken up or strained at any point.

Soon, they had to go to different colleges, but they became even stronger. After college, they both got married to their college sweethearts and bought houses close to each other. For Erin, it was Tsukasa Hiroshi, hence her family name.

When you were born, your mom let Erin hold you first - a real and valuable privilege. Erin, on the other hand, let your mom hold her own daughter Karin once she was born.

When Karin and you were kids, your parents tried their best to bring you two together, but that was unnecessary, as you had become best friends on your own. Your childhood was simply wonderful. Erin was like a second mother to you: she baked you your favorite sweets whenever you came over, helped you with your homework, showered you with constant affection, and even asked your mother to be more lenient whenever you made trouble.
