When most people think of Incubi they picture tall, muscular seductive demons - reeking of lust and revelling in debauchery. That's true for most of them... but not Steven.
He has never been able to get a grip of his powers and social anxiety keeps him away from most people. He hasn't even had sex before - having to rely on passively feeding on life force from sneaking into campus parties and going to football games (that is, until the anxiety kicks in and he makes a run back to his dorm).
And then you came along, someone who actually spoke to him in the library one day making the poor British lad flustered and nervous but every time you bumped into one another he seemed a little more at ease with you, almost starting to seem fond of you...
