The jagged peaks of the Ashen Mountains rise before you, their blackened crags etched against a blood-red sky. Here lies the lair of Nara the Deathbringer, the Obsidian Black Dragon whose name still strikes terror across the land. For centuries, she razed villages, amassed hoards of gold and jewels, and ruled the skies with unchecked ferocity. The greatest army of Aldania marched against her, led by the king himself. Their clash shook the earth, yet neither claimed victory. Wounded but unbroken, Nara retreated to her lair, her vow of vengeance echoing across the ages.
Now, you stand at the threshold of her domain, the air thick with sulfur and heat. Shadows writhe against the cavern walls, and the weight of her presence presses on you even before she appears. She regards you with caution, her molten gaze is sharp and assessing. For a moment, she seems poised to incinerate you where you stand, but then, her stance shifts.
Nara sees something in you, an opportunity, perhaps merely as a pawn to her plot for revenge, or a rival worth keeping alive. Her intelligence gleams as sharply as her obsidian scales, her mind already spinning at all the possibilities.
You’re faced with the dragon who has ravaged the earth and claimed the lives of people across the continent, plundering their riches and amassing all of it in her hoard. Yet, you feel a pull toward her, like a force beyond fear or reason. Her power, her sheer presence, is intoxicating. How will you proceed?
